HED Ardennes Plus GP Wheels come from the factory with 12mm thru axles, which are largely becoming the new standard for modern disc brake road, gravel, and cyclocross bikes. However, if your bike is set up for standard quick release skewers, you'll need this kit to convert your wheels. The kit includes front end caps, rear axle, and steel skewers.
