The new body of the Record Ergopower is both extremely light and resistant to impact and Campagnolo have also included an insert for those with larger hands. The new Vari-Cushion hoods have variable density and surface finishes of natural silicone material with differentiated areas to follow the grip of the 1st and 2nd finger. The grooved areas of the hoods drain away moisture, keeping your brake levers dry and improving your grip, and the internal weave of this system creates a variable thickness that guarantees maximum possible comfort. The double curvature brake lever allows you to engage and modulate the brake safely from any hand position. The most interesting feature is the Ultra-Shift mechanism with a differentiated maximum number of upshifting clicks depending on the starting sprocket. It is the only mechanical groupset on the market that allows multiple shifting (up to 5 sprockets) and rapid positioning on the combination desired when there is a steep increase in the slope or when approaching a bend (up to 4 combinations with chain on the first 4 sprockets and up to 3 combinations with chain above the fourth sprocket).
